God places us where we are needed,
according to His master plan.
In His book each day was written,
long before the world began.
When we invite Christ to enter our life,
He provides soil and waters our soul.
If we allow His Word to take root,
we will blossom and be made whole.
God cherishes our silent moments
when we meditate on His Word.
He promises that all we do will prosper
and all our prayers will be heard.
Prosperity only comes through obedience.
God expects us to follow His ways.
If we seek Him with all that is within us,
He will provide us with length of days.
May we take advantage of each opportunity
to spread God’s seeds of love.
He will shower us with many blessings
that can only come from above.
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down deep into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2: 6-7
When we accept Christ as our Savior, we start on a wonderful journey of discovery. Our name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and God begins to reveal His plan for our life. If we continue to feed on His Word, our faith will increase and we will produce good seed. His truths will be embedded in our mind and take root.
So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1: 21-22
Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. John 17:17
Being obedient to God’s Word shows Him that we truly love Him and His Holy Spirit is with us to teach us. Try as we might, we often fall short and allow sin to enter and take hold. During those times God understands our human nature, knows our heart and offers grace and forgiveness when we come to Him. As we continue to seek and trust Him, He will reveal His path and plan for our life.
