God’s beauty is all around us.
Just stop and enjoy the view!
His glory’s in all creation.
If we look, we will see it, too.
It’s easy to take life for granted
as we follow routines each day.
Do we take some time to thank Him
or continue to go on our way?
When problems come across our path,
do we seek out help through God’s Word?
Do we lift up thanks to heaven,
or are we barely even heard?
God loved us each so very much
that He offered up His Son.
He gave us the gift of abundant life
if we believe in the Holy One.
Let us thank Him for every blessing
and His promise someday to return.
If we ask for the Father’s Helper,
He will teach us and help us learn.
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet
and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105
Spring is upon us, and it’s a great time to reflect and be thankful for our blessings. It’s so easy to get caught up in our daily routines and miss seeing the beautiful details in God’s creations all around us. New growth and colorful blooms coming to life serve to remind us of new beginnings, and to pause and enjoy life.
Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem!
Rejoice in the Lord your God!
For the rain He sends demonstrates his faithfulness.
Once more the autumn rains will come,
as well as the rains of spring. Joel 2:23
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will
for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Giving thanks when things are going well is easy. It’s during times of trials when our faith is tested that we find it a challenge to be grateful. Our natural response is to complain and ask God why. But He waits for our praise-filled worship so that He can fill us with His presence, and show His power in the situation.
Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.
Our ancestors trusted in you, and you rescued them. Psalm 22:3-4
