We live in a world that is fallen;
our lives are consumed by sin.
What we search for cannot satisfy,
and the light inside us grows dim.
Christ offers us living water
from His fountain that never runs dry.
If we accept this gift from our Savior,
our spirit will never die.
In order to grow God’s kingdom,
we must worship Him from the heart.
Only then can we experience His power;
as His chosen we must do our part.
Many blessings flow from His fountain.
Its waters bring life and peace.
If we fill our minds with God’s presence,
our worries will begin to cease.
His life-giving waters bring strength
when our own can’t carry us through.
If we allow His Spirit to guide us,
we will find purpose in all we do.
For you are the fountain of life,
the light by which we see. Psalm 36:9
Life can be a struggle at times, and we often let worries take over our minds. It’s hard to release those worries because we want to take control and fix problems ourselves. Christ wants us to release our cares to Him.
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6
If we pray and sincerely seek after the Lord with all our heart, He will hear us and bring peace to our soul. We need to take time to pause and listen as the Holy Spirit speaks to our heart. By giving God control, our burdens will be lifted.
